What the app stores

Buyer Backup saves user-entered details, videos, photos, documents, notes, checklist progress, and exported summaries on your device.

• Packet title and purchase details you enter
• Store or seller, order number, tracking number, item value, serial/model, return deadline, warranty date, and notes if you choose to add them
• Photos, videos, and documents you choose to record or import
• Checklist progress and proof-readiness status
• Exported claim summaries you choose to create

What Newman AI Works collects by default

Newman AI Works does not collect app packet data by default. Buyer Backup does not require an account, does not include ads, does not include tracking, and does not upload your proof packets to Newman AI Works servers in the current V1 app.

Website launch list

If you join the Buyer Backup launch list, Newman AI Works receives the email address you enter, your optional name, your consent choice, the form source, and technical anti-spam timing fields. This information is used only to send Buyer Backup launch updates, manage the list, prevent abuse, and honor unsubscribe requests. It is not used to access app proof packets and is not sold.

You can unsubscribe from launch updates at any time by using the unsubscribe option in an email or contacting newmanaiworks@gmail.com. Launch-list records are retained only while needed to provide those updates, document consent, prevent abuse, or meet operational requirements.

Website operation

The current Buyer Backup public pages do not run analytics or custom click-beacon tracking. Like most hosted websites, the hosting provider may process basic request information such as IP address, browser details, requested page, and timestamps for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.

Camera and microphone

Buyer Backup asks for camera and microphone permission only when you choose to record proof. Recordings are stored locally on your device unless you export or share them.

Files and sharing

If you import a file, it is copied into the app's local evidence storage. If you export or share a packet, you choose where that exported file goes. Once you share files outside Buyer Backup, the receiving app or service handles those files under its own terms and privacy policy.

Support messages

If you contact Newman AI Works for support, you may choose to send your email address, screenshots, order details, or other information. That information is used to respond to your support request.

Security and retention

Local packets are stored on your device and are protected by the device, operating system, and backup settings you use. Launch-list records and support emails are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above, maintain required records, prevent abuse, or meet operational requirements. Newman AI Works does not sell this information.

Data deletion

You can delete local packets inside the app. You can also remove the app from your device to remove local app data managed by the operating system. Newman AI Works cannot delete packet data that was never sent to Newman AI Works.

Children

Buyer Backup is not intended for children under 13.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as the app changes. If Buyer Backup adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, ads, or other data collection in a future version, this policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosures should be updated before release. The date at the top will be updated when the policy changes.
